How to Change Your Project Currency in thesheet

Learn how to set and change currencies for your projects in thesheet to match your client's requirements.

Setting a Project Currency in thesheet

When creating a new project in thesheet, you can select your preferred currency:

  1. In the Projects view, click the + Project button in the top right corner.
  2. Fill in your project and client details.
  3. Select your desired currency from the dropdown menu.

Changing an existing project's currency

To change the currency of an existing project:

  1. Navigate to your Active Projects.
  2. Click the three dots next to the project you want to update.
  3. Select Edit Project Information from the dropdown menu.
  4. In the project details, locate the currency dropdown.
  5. Select your preferred currency.
  6. Click Update to save your changes.


Note: When changing a project's currency, thesheet does not automatically convert existing product prices. The numerical values remain the same, only the currency symbol changes. 

Currency in the Clipper

When using the Clipper to add products, the symbol for price is always €. However the field itself is not currency-dependent. Numbers entered into the Price field are treated just as numbers and the actually currency in which they will be displayed in depends on what is set in the project.
